As a book nerd and word lover, Yousra spent over the past eight years studying English and the craft of writing. She has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Publishing, an MFA in Creative Writing, and a BA in English, each enhancing her writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities. She enjoys YA fiction and fantasy most but reads a wide variety of genres. She has edited not only fiction, but also self-help and health-related titles.
I stay as true as possible to the writer's voice to help them amplify their message/intent. I also believe syntax is one of the most important aspects of editing. In other words, working to help the writer with flow and rhythm is just as important as any grammar.
