Jonah is a writer and editor based in North Carolina. With more than 30 years of experience and expertise in editing and writing—across genres, styles, and platforms—Jonah strives for nothing less than editorial excellence.
Jonah has a strong background in print journalism (news writing and editing, feature stories, personality profiles, opinion pieces); poetry and creative nonfiction published in more than fifty literary arts journals; publication of a half-dozen books of poetry; several hundred book reviews; and professional writing and editing services for clients, including manuscript copyediting, editorial feedback, website and blog content creation, academic writing assistance, and resume creation. He has Bachelors degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Communications, and a Masters in Library and Information Systems, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and served on staff with the Greensboro (NC) Public Library for fourteen years.
Writing and editing of all types and textures has long been my primary passion, my raison d'etre, my sweet jazz and savvy rock and roll. I presently focus entirely on editing and writing, seeking every opportunity to heighten my editorial excellence, while forming meaningful, professional working relationships with those who entrust me with their words. I strongly believe everybody inherently has a story worth sharing with the world. Everybody. I believe everyone has within them unique storytelling abilities, and that this is intrinsic to the human condition. I am passionate about assisting authors and authors-to-be with professional, comprehensive, committed, personally tailored editing services, such that every manuscript sent my way shall be enthusiastically given all the time, resources, and dedicated editorial expertise necessary to deliver an end-product book which absolutely shines.
